Community Service

Each NCL, Inc. chapter promotes social awareness by considering the local community’s needs and selecting appropriate non-profit organizations to serve.  Each chapter then supports its philanthropic service partners through different volunteer activities.  Philanthropies supported by the Carolina Lily Chapter include:

Chapter Impact

  • Between April 1, 2016 and March 31, 2017 members served 11,097.25 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $266,334 to the community. Members also baked 20,232 cookies for our philanthropies, made over 700 stockings for military children and 2,500 Pop-Tops for The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill!
  • Between April 1, 2015 and March 31, 2016 members served 9,565 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $215,213 to the community. Members also baked over 42,000 cookies for our philanthropies, made over 1,300 stockings for military children, donated over 1,400 books to The Book Harvest and collected 34,845 Pop-Tops for The Ronald McDonald House of Chapel Hill!
  • Between April 1, 2014 and March 31, 2015 members served 4,448 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $100,080 to the community. Members also baked over 30,000 cookies for our philanthropies, made and stuffed over 2,000 stockings for military children and donated over 2,500 books to The Book Harvest.
  • Between April 1, 2013 and March 31, 2014 members served 6,983 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $157,117.50 to our community. Members also baked over 31,000 cookies for our philanthropies, made and stuffed over 1,600 stockings for military children and donated almost 2,000 books to The Book Harvest.
  • Between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013 members served 5,309 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $119,452.50 to our community.
  • Between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2012 members served 2,581 philanthropy hours with a dollar impact of $58,072.50 to our community.
